Offer a Program With Us

The Family Resource Centre provides a range of programs that support early childhood development. We offer programs in these four areas:

  • Early Learning – play-based learning opportunities where families interact and have fun such as sensory play, art, music, dance, etc.

  • Parenting Education – non-stigmatizing and culturally inclusive opportunities where parents/caregivers can learn about parenting, early childhood development and supporting child wellbeing.

  • Family Wellness – work with community partners to support the health and wellness of families such as: prenatal supports, breastfeeding supports, immunization clinics, transportation, community kitchens, family counseling, life skills and employment readiness, etc.

  • Information and Referrals – link families to supports to help them raise healthy children.

In addition to providing our own programs, we partner with individuals, groups and organizations that expand opportunities for play-based learning, parenting education, and family wellness.
