Peek-A-Book gives children a peek into other worlds through storytelling. It’s designed to inspire big dreams while nurturing emotional and social intelligence. This storytime fosters creativity, imagination, and a love for reading as children connect with characters and stories in meaningful ways.
Families with children with children ages 0-5 are welcome to join the storytime session during drop-in play or simply stay and enjoy open play.
Participation is optional and always welcome!

We are excited to offer Mom & Baby Yoga classes with Karmaburn Yoga! These sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for mothers to bond with their babies ( 6 weeks to 8-10 months) while enjoying the numerous benefits of yoga.
Why Join Mom & Baby Yoga:
Reduce Postpartum Depression: Shared activities with your baby can help lower the risk of postpartum depression and ease some forms of birth trauma.
Regain Pre-pregnancy Fitness: Yoga exercises help moms get back into shape without the need for a babysitter.

Navigating Parenting is a program that uses art to explore parental anger, trauma, parenting strategies, self-care, attachment, positive discipline, and more. It focuses on rebuilding and strengthening relationships between parents and children. It also focuses on the importance of connection and communication. This program is for all parents, regardless of the child’s age, or whether the child is in the parent’s care.
Some of the topics covered in the Navigating Parenting program include:
• Attachment and bonding
• Positive discipline
• Styles of parenting
• Communication
Childminding and refreshments will be offered as well!

The Food For Thought Program is a prenatal and postnatal support program offered in Saskatoon through the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The program aims to promote health and wellness to families through cooking activities involving low-cost, accessible ingredients in a group setting. The program also explores pregnancy and postnatal related topics after each cooking session.

What to Expect in Food for Thought Class:
Weekly hands-on cooking sessions with simple, healthy ingredients

Childminding provided during class

It is a 4-week drop-in program!
This program provides a wonderful opportunity for children 0-5 years old to enjoy the sensory benefits of messy play without the dread of extensive preparations and clean up!
Sensory Play is great for all ages and abilities. It promotes self-regulation, fine motor skills, and fosters curiosity.

Bringing Traditions Home
October 03rd- November 28th, 2024

Bringing Traditions Home is a 9 weeks program offered through the BC Aboriginal Child Care Society. It is a traditional Aboriginal parenting program designed upon the 8 traditional sacred values and teachings. During the program, the families will be learning traditional values and cultural practices to help parents, grandparents and other family caregivers to raise healthy children in today’s urban Canadian context. We will have local knowledge keeper who will share their knowledge and cultural teachings to the program.

Eensy Weensy is a program developed by Foundations Learning. It is for parents and caregivers with babies and toddlers between 0-3 years of age. It focuses on supporting early literacy and social emotional development through play and songs.

Nobody's Perfect
Every Thursday, April 03rd-May 08th
4:30-6:00PM
Learn about your child’s feelings, behaviours, body, and safety as well as sharing what it is like to be a parent. We will offer childminding if needed. Refreshments will be provided! To earn your certificate, you must attend at least 4 sessions.
Share: questions or concerns and ideas about being a parent
Meet: about child development, safety, health, and behaviour
with other parents of young children
Learn: about real-life parenting experiences
Talk: together with the support of a trained facilitator
Work: ways of positive parenting

Diverse Fatherhood
Every Tuesday, 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Diverse Fatherhood is a program intended for fathers, grandfathers, and caregivers to gather and chat about fatherhood. The program will be led by our Coordinator. Every week, there will be time to chat and socialize while also discussing topics to recognize the diversity in parenting styles, as well as exploring diverse perspectives and experiences of fatherhood across cultures and backgrounds, fostering inclusivity and understanding among fathers.
No registration required
Childminding will be provided.
